Nature study is always an inspiration to set my creative contours. I remember I lied down under an Aswatha/ Sacred fig tree pretty often for rest. I spent a quality time over there sighting the rhythms in shapes, textures, colors and winking lights and shadows through leaves. All that I got there took a unique form and elemental balance as I got back to my studio and started with this composition.
